Spanish F4 contender Branden Lee Oxley will join Chris Dittmann Racing for the second half of the GB3 season, starting next weekend (7/8 August) at Snetterton.
The Anglo-Thai driver has primarily entered the Spanish F4 category so far in 2021, competing in nine races in his first campaign of single-seater racing.
The 17-year-old also entered the recent EuroFormula Open round at Imola, with a best result of sixth place, before now moving to Britain’s leading single-seater championship.
Before his venture into slicks and wings racing, Oxley competed in the Spanish TCR category in 2020, finishing eighth overall.
The Malaga resident completed extensive testing mileage in F4 prior to his graduation into racing, and also sampled previous generation Formula 3 machinery and Radicals, before making his overall racing debut of any kind at the start of last year.
The Snetterton event on 7-8 August will be the youngster’s first taste of the Tatuus-Mountune GB3 car, with team and driver looking to use the remaining four events as a test programme ahead of a planned full-time assault on the championship in 2022.
