Oulton Park race three starts at 15.40 - Grundtvig on pole

Sunday 12 September 2021

The final GB3 Championship in association with the BRDC race of the weekend at Oulton Park will start at 15.40, with Fortec’s Mikkel Grundtvig on pole.

Grundtvig was the final driver within 103% of the fastest time in qualifying, and therefore lines up at the front of the grid, and will aim for his second win of the season.

He will start alongside Carlin’s Bryce Aron at the front of the grid, with Hillspeed’s Jonathan Browne and Arden’s Roman Bilinski on row two.

Chris Dittmann Racing’s Branden Oxley starts fifth ahead of Hitech’s Sebastian Alvarez, with Frederick Lubin (Arden) and Tom Lebbon (Arden) seventh and eighth.

Hitech’s Reece Ushijima and Elite’s Javier Sagrera complete the top-10.

Championship leader Zak O’Sullivan can win the title in this race, but needs to score 17 more points than teammate Christian Mansell in order to do so. O’Sullivan starts 16th while Mansell launches from 11th.
