The fight for honours in the 2024 GB3 Championship intensified at Zandvoort, after another wide open series of races.
While the championship battle continues to develop, the scrap for this year's Jack Cavill Pole Position Cup is also red hot, with JHR's John Bennett taking a double pole in the Netherlands to go joint top of the standings with three events remaining.
Bennett claimed the poles with a late series of laps in Saturday's qualifying session, going 0.061s faster than Hitech Pulse-Eight's Tymek Kucharczyk for race one pole, and just 0.014s quicker for the race two pole.
Bennett and Kucharczyk are now tied on three poles each at the top of the standings, with both earning £750 for their achievements so far (£250 per pole).
They are a single pole ahead of Rodin's Louis Sharp and Hitech's Pulse-Eight's Gerrard Xie.
The remaining qualifying sessions at Silverstone, Donington Park and Brands Hatch will determine the winner of this year's Pole Position Cup, and the £2,000 end of year prize
