Hitech Pulse-Eight’s title contender Tymek Kucharczyk topped the times in the second session of the day at Donington Park, though in warmer conditions, wasn’t quite able to match his effort from session one this morning.
The Polish driver lapped Donington Park in 1m23.384s on his penultimate tour, putting him over a quarter of a second clear of Rodin’s championship leader Louis Sharp, with the second Hitech of Will Macintyre two tenths further back in third.
Gerrard Xie ensured all three Hitech’s were in the top four, while Patrick Heuzenroeder was the lead JHR runner in fifth, and 0.047s away from the Chinese driver.
Fortec’s Colin Queen was inside the top-six again and just a thousandth quicker than the lead Chris Dittmann Racing car of Seb Murray, with Rodin duo Freddie Slater and Arthur Rogeon eighth and ninth.
JHR’s championship battler John Bennett completed the top-10, which was covered by little over three quarters of a second.
The third and final test session of the week is due to commence at 15.45.
