Race two starts at 10.02 – Kucharczyk on pole

28 April 2024

The second GB3 Championship race of the weekend at Silverstone is due to commence at 10.02, with Hitech Pulse-Eight’s Tymek Kucharczyk gunning for a second win from another pole position.

The race two grid is formed by each driver’s second quickest times from qualifying, where the Polish driver claimed a double pole.

He’ll be joined on the front row by Elite Motorsport’s McKenzy Cresswell, who finished second yesterday, with Hitech teammate Will Macintyre, who finished third yesterday, and the third Hitech car of Gerrard Xie forming row two.

Rodin’s Ugo Ugochukwu and JHR’s Josh Irfan will start fifth and sixth ahead of championship leader Louis Sharp and JHR’s John Bennett.

Elite’s Jarrod Waberski and VRD Racing by Arden’s James Hedley complete the top-10.

Meanwhile, the driver of car 33 (Hugo Schwarze), has been handed a three place grid penalty for causing a collision with the driver of car 41 (Edward Pearson), and will therefore start from 14th on the grid instead of the 11th place in which he qualified.

The full race two grid is shown below, and the contest will be streamed live and in full via this link.
