Fortec Motorsports has confirmed that Alexandros Kattoulas will return to the team in 2026 as he embarks on a full campaign in the GB3 Championship.
The Japanese/Greek racer first established his reputation in karting, highlighted by securing the 2015 ROK Cup Singapore/Asia Mini Rok title and finishing runner-up in the Singapore Karting Championship.
Following a move to Europe in 2016, Alex progressed into karting’s Junior ranks the following season before stepping away from racing to complete his schooling and pursue a mathematics degree at university.
He returned to competitive action in 2024, making his single-seater debut in GB3 with Fortec on the penultimate weekend of the season. Building on that experience, he contested the GB4 Championship last year, recording one victory and five podium finishes on his way to fourth in the standings.
Now Alex returns to Fortec for a full season in GB3, which enters 2026 with further refinements to the series’ Tatuus MSV GB3-025 car, including a new 2.4-litre engine and updated aerodynamic package designed to enhance both performance and reliability.
