Tom Lebbon won race two at Donington Park, while Hitech GP’s Luke Browning claimed the GB3 title with second. His teammate Bryce Aron climbed to third, here’s how each driver reacted after the race.

Winner, Tom Lebbon, Elite Motorsport:
“It was really tough out there today with the drying conditions and the wet tyres. I managed to get a bit of a gap at the start and then held the lead from there.

“I think overall the wets were quicker throughout the race but the slicks were quicker at the end. I wanted to go slicks but the team didn’t. This makes up for yesterday getting the win today, overall a great weekend so far.”

Second place and champion, Luke Browning, Hitech GP:
“I’m, elated, that’s absolutely amazing. At the start it was all pretty aggressive so I let them do their thing and I’ll sort it out later on and yeah it worked out. Chaos!

“Big congrats to the Hitech team, they’ve worked hard for this. Let’s enjoy it now.

“In these points of the season you’ve just got to go for it, with the championship rival in front of you, you’ve got to go for it. It’s the last round, Donington duel, obviously it was a great race throughout and it’s been a great season battling with Joel. What an incredible opponent and incredible team to race against. Obviously elation from our side but gutted for those guys as they worked so hard for it.”

Third, Bryce Aron, Hitech GP:
“I am really happy. It was an absolutely insane race I have to say, wet on slicks, the first few laps we lost a lot of positions and then the tyre just came to us over the race. Luckily we didn’t have a safety car to stall our progress.

“It was a really good race, really happy with the result. Have to thank our manager Paul who came up with the strategy. We were rolling onto the green flag lap, and was like I’m not sure about this, it’s really wet, but it ended up working out really well. Huge thanks to them, huge thanks to Hitech. It’s a great result, Luke won the championship, P2, P3, really happy for the team.”
