Oxley “feeling more confident already” heading to Snetterton

15 June 2022

Chris Dittmann Racing’s Branden Oxley heads to Snetterton on 25-26 June in confident mood after claiming the first podium of his GB3 career last time out at Donington Park.

The Anglo-Thai was second in the final contest at Donington Park, after an up and down start to the season in which he’d shown plenty of promise without any significant reward until then.

But after finally claiming a trophy, he’s hoping to kick start his campaign at the venue where he made his championship debut last year.

“I’m very excited for Snetterton as we have worked a lot on the car and perhaps making the right steps now. We shall see, but I’m feeling more confident already,” he commented.

Oxley is still a relative newcomer to racing, having only made his competitive debut in any category just a couple of years ago. Therefore the challenges of adapting to the brand new Tatuus-MSV 022 car compared to the previous specification has allowed him to learn new skills, with a podium at Donington the reward. He is though, keen to keep pressing on.

“It was nice to be on the podium at Donington Park, however we have a lot of work and catching up to do as a team so that’s the biggest priority right now.

“The season so far has been far from what we expected and where I should be. I’ve never experienced developing a car before, so this challenge has taught me a lot of very useful skills for the future for sure.”
