Callum Voisin and Alex Dunne are the final two drivers in with a chance of claiming the GB3 Championship title, following Dunne’s victory in the second race of the weekend at Donington Park.
Voisin heads into the event with a 22-point lead over the Irishman, and simply needs to score 14 points in the final race to guarantee him the title, no matter where Dunne finishes. Voisin can score those required points by finishing 12th from his 22nd place starting position. That would see him claim 10 points for positions gained, and a further four for his finishing position.
In the event of a tie score, Dunne would win the title having won five races in 2023, compared to Voisin’s two.
There’s a maximum of 35 points available for race three: 20 points for a race win, and a maximum of 15 for places gained.
