Joseph Loake returned to winning ways last weekend at Brands Hatch, and in doing so, claimed the Sunoco Fastest Driver of the Weekend Award for the second time this year.
The prize, awarded for the fastest race lap of the weekend, fell Loake’s way after the young British contender lapped the former British Grand Prix venue in a time of 1m19.695s in the first contest on Saturday.
That marked his first race win since Silverstone, and ensured he took home the prize for the second time, after also earning it at the season opening Oulton Park event.
Alex Dunne is the only other driver on the grid to have won the prize twice, after setting the fastest lap at both Spa and Snetterton, while McKenzy Cresswell and Tymek Kucharczyk were the award winners at the two Silverstone visits.
