Kucharczyk quickest in Brands Hatch Indy session three

Douglas Motorsport’s Tymek Kucharczyk set the pace in the third test session of the day on the Brands Hatch Indy circuit.

The Polish driver became the third different driver to top the times today, with a lap of 42.701s putting him over a tenth of a second clear of JHR’s Matthew Rees, with teammate Joseph Loake just 0.011s behind in third.

Session two pace setter Alex Dunne was fourth this time around for Hitech Pulse-Eight, 0.018s ahead of Fortec’s Max Esterson, with the American’s teammate Jarrod Waberski completing a top-six covered by 0.184s.

Elite’s McKenzy Cresswell was seventh, 0.012s further back and 0.037s clear of Arden VRD’s James Hedley, with Lucas Staico (Douglas) and Zak Taylor (Chris Dittmann Racing) completing the top-10, which was covered by just 0.293s.

Kucharczyk’s quickest lap came in a final flurry of times after session one topper Noah Ping beached his Arden VRD car in the gravel at Paddock Hill Bend.

The fourth and final session of the day is due to commence at 16.15.
