Silverstone qualifying starts at 10.40 – how to follow the action

27 April 2024

Qualifying at Silverstone is due to commence at 10.40, with the 20-minute session set to decide the grid for the first two races of the weekend.

As usual, the session will be live timed, allowing followers to keep tabs on the order throughout the session. Click here to follow live timing.

Heading into the session, VRD Racing by Arden’s James Hedley and Rodin Motorsport’s championship leader Louis Sharp look to be the drivers to beat. Hedley set the fastest time in testing on Thursday, while Sharp ran him close with his Friday best effort.

Sharp’s teammate Ugo Ugochukwu has also been a figure towards the front having returned from Formula Regional duty, while series newcomer Martinius Stenshorne has also climbed the order in testing for Chris Dittmann Racing.

Oulton Park race winners John Bennett (JHR) and Will Macintyre (Hitech) should also be in the mix, while Tymek Kucharczyk was rapid at the circuit last year, and will look to carry that form over into qualifying.

Following qualifying, the first race of the weekend is slated to start at 14.52, with that contest to be streamed live and in full, with build-up and post-race analysis too. Live footage will be available from the live timing link.
