Tymek Kucharczyk will return to the GB3 Championship in 2024, switching to the Hitech Pulse-Eight squad for his sophomore campaign.
The Polish youngster made a strong impression in his first GB3 season last year, finishing seventh in the championship standings with two podiums and regular top-five finishes.
He consistently impressed with his pace, and was a threat for race victories at Silverstone and Snetterton, especially at the former where he set the fastest lap of the weekend and delivered three outstanding comeback drives.
His GB3 arrival came off the back of an excellent campaign in Spanish F4 the previous year, taking a win and 12 podiums in his first season of single-seater racing.
The 17-year-old is now gearing up for his GB3 return, with the squad that won both titles in 2022 and very nearly claimed the driver’s crown last year with Alex Dunne. He completes the Silverstone-based team’s line-up for the new year, alongside British F4 runner-up Will Macintyre and fellow series returnee Gerrard Xie.
Tymek Kucharczyk said: “I am excited to be racing with Hitech Pulse-Eight this season, a leading team and front-runner in the GB3 Championship. The opportunity to race for such a prestigious team is a huge motivation for me. I gained valuable experience last season and I hope it will help me fight for the championship title in 2024. I want to thank Hitech GP for their trust and I am looking forward to a competitive year ahead.”
Hitech Pulse-Eight Team Manager Phil Blow said: “Tymek impressed in the GB3 Championship last season, finishing seventh overall on debut. With his experience in the series, we are delighted for him to complete our line-up for 2024 and are fully confident that we will have a very competitive year together.”
