Race three starts at 16.40 (15.40 UK) - Irfan on pole

14 July 2024

The final race of the weekend at Zandvoort is due to commence at 16.40 local time (15.40 UK) with JHR Developments' Josh Irfan on pole.

Race three is as always, the top-12 reverse grid encounter, with the fastest dozen drivers from qualifying inverted in the starting order, and the remaining drivers starting behind them in qualifying order.

Irfan qualified 12th, and now lines up at the head of the pack, and is joined on the front row by VRD Racing by Arden's Nikita Johnson.

Irfan's teammate Patrick Heuzenroeder and Rodin's Arthur Rogeon will start from row two ahead of Elite Motorsport duo McKenzy Cresswell and Hugo Schwarze, with Hitech's Will Macintyre and Rodin's double podium finisher James Hedley on row four.

Pre-event championship leader Louis Sharp (Rodin) and Hitech's Gerrard Xie complete the top-10. Xie starts further down the order than expected after picking up a five place grid penalty for causing the race two start accident.

Double pole sitter John Bennett should have started 12th, but will instead start from 17th after being penalised for causing a collision in race two with Louis Sharp.
