17 June 2024

Chris Dittmann Racing has confirmed that Isaac Barashi will join the team this weekend (June 21-23) in the GB3 Championship at the Hungaroring.

The Portuguese/British racer made his single seater debut racing in the F4 British Championship in 2022, undertaking a full campaign the following year, scoring two podium finishes, where he also ran a dual campaign in the Spanish F4 series.

This season, Isaac took part in the final three rounds of the Formula Regional Middle East Championship, and is racing in Eurocup 3, where he scored his first points at the Red Bull Ring.

Adding to his repertoire, the teenager will compete for the first time in the GB3 Championship and at the Hungaroring – home to the Hungarian Grand Prix – the first time series will have raced at the Hungarian Grand Prix venue.

Isaac Barashi said: “I’m super grateful and exited for the opportunity to be racing with Chris Dittmann Racing at Hungary. It won’t be easy coming into the GB3 Championship halfway through the season but I’m ready for the challenge. The team have been really helpful in getting me up to speed with the car in the limited time we have, and I can’t wait to get racing this weekend.”

Team Principal Chris Dittmann said: “It’s great to be welcoming Isaac to the team for this weekend’s GB3 Championship races in Hungary. It’s going to be a steep learning curve for him, but he and the team have been working hard to prepare as best as possible, so we can hit the ground running when we get out on track.”
