Arthur Rogeon, Josh Irfan and Jarrod Waberski were the top-three drivers in the final race of the weekend at the Hungaroring. Here's how each driver reacted at the end of the contest.
Winner, Arthur Rogeon, Rodin Motorsport:
"It's good to be finally on the top step. It was a really hard race but I led from lap one until the end. Pretty good, we have the pace so thank you to the team for all the work they have done today. After race two they had to change all the electronical parts in the car, so they did some good work! I'm really happy.
"We had to make the move on the first lap, I knew I needed a good start and I made one. Josh raced really good in the first corner and managed to stay outside. But then I made the move in the second corner and led all the race."
Second, Josh Irfan, JHR Developments:
"He got me at the start and into turn two we both outbroke each other, I had a snap in the middle of the corner and he got a better exit. He had me into turn one, he sort of squeezed me off on the exit but I did the same thing and I sort of came back onto the track on the way to turn two and he was on the outside. The pace was good but I struggled a little bit with rear balance. But at the end of the day, I'll take a P2, hopefully we'll get a P1 in the second half of the year.
"I should have been higher up in quali but apart from that I've sort of maximised, apart from that one, what I could do points-wise this week."
Third, Jarrod Waberski, Elite Motorsport:
"I think a third in that race is pretty good. I think the guys in front saved their sets of tyres because they didn't have a good race two, so they were on pretty much a new set really for race three. We had something like 100kms on ours like most of the others did. Pace wise compared to them mid way though the race was pretty good, but it was just managing from then onwards.
"I wasn't too bothered about Sharp behind, I was just trying to move forward. He had a pretty good start so I had to defend from him early on and then kind of after the first two laps I pulled away from him. From then onwards it was just trying to stay as close as I could to the two guys in front in case they made a mistake or something, but they didn't in the end."
