VRD Racing by Arden’s stand-in James Hedley registered the fastest lap time of the day so far at Oulton Park, as he topped the second session in Cheshire.
The British driver’s lap of 1m30.709s was just 0.024s faster than Rodin Motorsport’s British F4 champion Louis Sharp, in second place again after occupying the same position this morning.
Session one pace-setter John Bennett was third this time around for JHR Developments, 0.040s clear of Rodin’s Ugo Ugochukwu, with the top-four covered by less than two tenths of a second.
Will Macintyre was again the lead Hitech Pulse-Eight runner, moving up to fifth, having completed the top-10 in the opening session, with teammate Gerrard Xie sixth.
Elite Motorsport’s McKenzy Cresswell, who topped much of pre-season running was seventh and half a tenth further back from the Chinese entrant, and just 0.019s clear of Chris Dittmann Racing’s Flynn Jackes, who continues to impress at Oulton Park today, having been third fastest this morning.
Hitech’s Tymek Kucharczyk and Elite’s Jarrod Waberski completed the top-10, which as covered by just over half a second, with 0.854s covering the top-15.
The final session of the day is due to commence at 15.00.
