09 May 2024

Hitech Pulse-Eight’s Will Macintyre was fastest for the second day running at Snetterton, as testing at the East Anglian venue came to a close on Thursday.

Having topped all four sessions on Wednesday, the British driver was fastest again in the first two sessions on Thursday, with his session one effort of 1m40.526s proving the quickest of the day, and the entire two day test.

Macintyre was just under a quarter of a second clear of teammate Tymek Kucharczyk, with the Polish driver’s best lap coming in session two.

JHR’s John Bennett was quickest in the final session of the week, but his session two effort proved his best, putting him 0.023s away from Kucharczyk and 0.069s clear of the third Hitech of Gerrard Xie, another to set their best time in the opening test.

Bennett’s teammate Josh Irfan was fastest in session three, with that time putting him fifth overall on Thursday, half a second clear of Elite’s Jarrod Waberski.

Patrick Heuzenroeder (JHR) and McKenzy Cresswell (Elite) were next up ahead of Chris Dittmann Racing newcomer Jacob Douglas and the third Elite car of Hugo Schwarze.

A total of 12 drivers completed the day once more, with Chris Dittmann Racing duo Seb Murray and Flynn Jackes completing the runners.
