The brand new Tatuus MSV GB3-025 car has completed its first shakedown run in Italy, and will now start a major testing programme across venues in Italy and Spain in the coming weeks.
The car tallied 25 laps at the 1.5 kilometre La Pista test track adjacent to Tatuus’ headquarters on the outskirts of Milan on Monday, with former Formula Renault Eurocup and FIA F3 contender Lorenzo Colombo at the wheel.
All planned activity was completed during the shakedown, with all systems working as expected.
The successful first run means that an intensive test programme can be carried out, starting later this week at Vallelunga, before moving on to other venues across November and December.
"It was great to get into the car today, and I can already tell straight out of the box that it’s going to be a fantastic machine for young drivers” Colombo reported. “I’m really looking forward to doing some more detailed running in the next test sessions.”
