Divy Nandan returns to Chris Dittmann Racing for GB3 Championship debut

25 April 2025

Chris Dittmann Racing welcomes back Indian talent Divy Nandan as he prepares to make his GB3 Championship bow this weekend at Silverstone (26/27 April).

Divy first climbed into a kart at the age of 17, joining the Narain Karthikeyan Racing Academy in India. Over two seasons he honed his racecraft before stepping into MRF saloon cars at the Madras International Circuit, where he stunned the paddock by claiming a podium finish on his debut weekend. That performance earned him a drive in the MRF Formula 1600 single-seater series.

By 19, the Gurgaon-born driver had demonstrated both raw pace and rapid progression, prompting him to seek fresh challenges in Europe and the United Kingdom to refine his technique against international opposition.

In 2022, Divy joined Chris Dittmann Racing to further his development, contesting six rounds of the British F4 Championship and scoring points at Thruxton, the UK’s fastest circuit. The following year he celebrated his maiden victory in MRF Formula 2000 at Madras and in 2024, worked hard to raise the budget to race in the Indian F4 Championship.

Despite having been out of a seat for close to 18 months, he performed with aplomb, consistently running towards the front of the field. At the end of the campaign, Divy recorded four podiums and finished fourth in the Drivers’ standings.

The 22-year-old now returns to Chris Dittmann Racing for his maiden GB3 appearances this weekend.

Divy Nandan said: “I am excited to race in the GB3 Championship this weekend and to be back with the team at Chris Dittmann Racing. It has taken lots of hard work to be able to be here, so I want to make the most of the experience. It will be a challenge but I look forward to testing myself and learning as much as I can.”

Chris Dittmann, Team Principal said: “We’re thrilled to have Divy back with us and stepping up into GB3. His speed and dedication have been clear ever since he joined us, and we believe this weekend marks an important milestone in his journey. The team will be working flat-out to ensure he has the tools and expertise he needs, and we’re excited to see what we can achieve over the weekend.”
