Patrick Heuzenroeder was quickest overall in GB3 Championship testing at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit, as the Australian topped both the second and third sessions of the day.
The Xcel Motorsport driver set his fastest lap time of 42.123s in test session two, 0.065s ahead of championship leader Alex Ninovic (Rodin Motorsport) who placed in second across the outings, and like the rest of the top-10, set his fastest time in the final session.
Hitech’s Deagen Fairclough rounded off the top three, setting his fastest time at the end of the day, 0.085s behind Heuzenroeder.
Enzo Tarnvanichkul set his fastest time of the day by over three tenths in the third test, the Thai VRD Racing driver 0.137s off of the top time.
Hillspeed’s Freddie Slater, who set the benchmark in the first test session of the day, was the final top five runner, only 0.004s behind Tarnvanichkul.
Will Macintyre placed his Elite Motorsport machine in sixth, while Hitech’s Keanu Al Azhari was just over three hundredths behind him.
The driver placed third in the standings, Rodin Motorsport’s Gianmarco Pradel, finished the day eighth overall, while Hitech driver Nikita Johnson and Pradel’s teammate Abbi Pulling rounded off the top ten runners, who were separated by only 0.330s.
The entire field of 21 cars was within a second of the outright pace.
Tomorrow (Saturday) kicks off with a practice session before qualifying and the first race.
