VRD Racing's Enzo Tarnvanichkul made the most of a rapid start to claim his first GB3 Championship win in race three at Brands Hatch.
From second on the grid, the Thai driver blasted past pole sitter Jack Sherwood to lead at Paddock Hill Bend, and then scorched into the distance, only to see his advantage of over three seconds wiped out by two late safety car appearances.
Sherwood held off a sustained challenge from Elite's Will Macintyre to claim a maiden GB3 podium, while the latter was on course for third only to leave the road at high speed at Hawthorns, which necessitated the first safety car deployment.
There was further drama once the safety car pitted, as Kai Daryanani in fourth and Deagen Fairclough in fifth made contact at Hawthorns, promoting Rodin's Abbi Pulling to her first GB3 podium, having run sixth for the opening stages of the race.
Hillspeed's Hiyu Yamakoshi took fourth, while JHR Developments' Daryanani salvaged fifth despite his incident with Fairclough, with the latter dropping to the tail of the field.
Yamakoshi's teammate Freddie Slater made moves up the field to sixth from 11th, while the third Hillspeed of Kanato Le dropped from fifth to seventh.
Argenti with Prema's Reza Seewooruthun rose six places to finish eighth, while teammate Lucas Fluxa took ninth, having started 16th.
Hitech's Nikita Johnson rounded off the top ten finishers, moving up from the tenth row of the grid.
The race effectively finished under the safety car after the Daryanani/Fairclough incident and a further drama for Gianmarco Pradel and Patrick Heuzenroeder moments later, which left Heuzenroeder's car beached in the gravel.
