Rodin Motorsport's Alex Ninovic repeated his performance from race one yesterday to win a delayed second GB3 race of the weekend at Brands Hatch.
The championship leader made a good start from pole, immediately putting himself ahead of any potential attack from behind, but had to withstand a safety car restart after a lap one incident at the top of Pilgrims Drop, which eliminated Hitech's Keanu Al Azhari.
Making a good restart at the end of lap four, Ninovic was then able to creep away from his opposition, quickly eliminating any possibility of DRS attack, and extending a margin of over two seconds by the chequered flag. Hillspeed's Freddie Slater had to settle for second once more ahead of Hitech's Deagen Fairclough, with the podium being a duplicate of yesterday's result.
Behind the podium trio, Xcel Motorsport's Patrick Heuzenroeder held off a race-long challenge from countryman Gianmarco Pradel's Rodin car, with Hillspeed's Hiyu Yamakoshi completing the top-six.
JHR Developments' Kai Daryanani took seventh, just under three seconds ahead of Hillspeed's Kanato Le, who held off a closing Abbi Pulling (Rodin Motorsport) who finished less than a second behind in ninth.
Daryanani's teammate Noah Lisle beat Elite Motorsport's Will Macintyre to the line by under two tenths to complete the top ten, after a late battle.
Ninovic has extended a 67-point lead at the top of the standings, with another race to follow at 17.55 this afternoon.
