Alex Ninovic is the winner of the 2025 Jack Cavill Pole Position Cup, after securing another double pole position in qualifying at Brands Hatch last weekend.
The Australian delivered one of the most dominant qualifying performances in GB3 history, sealing pole positions with margins of 0.5 and 0.4 seconds respectively.
The poles, his sixth and seventh of the year, are already a record tally in the GB3 era, with previous Jack Cavill Pole Position Cup winners claiming the prize with a maximum tally of six.
With two more events at Donington Park and Monza, Ninovic could yet accrue a tally stretching into double figures.
So far, Ninovic has earned poles at Zandvoort, Spa-Francorchamps and at the Hungaroring, before his doubles at Silverstone and Brands Hatch put him out of reach of his opposition.
With £300 on offer for each pole position, Ninovic has already earned £2,100 in prize money, and will earn an additional end of year £2,000 prize at the season finale at Monza.
As a result of Ninovic’s triumph in this year’s Pole Position Cup, his Rodin Motorsport team will also receive the David Poole-Warren Pole Position Cup, and an end of year £2,000 prize.
Prizes at each round are handed out by John Cavill, son of Jack, who has been a huge supporter of young drivers in MSV series since 2013.
