Rodin Motorsport's championship topper Alex Ninovic now holds the outright lead in the Jack Cavill Pole Position Cup, following his latest pole position at the Hungaroring.
The Australian secured his third pole of the season in the event's second qualifying session, putting him at the front of the pack in race two. The pole, secured with a lap record smashing time of 1m37.445s helped him secure his third win of the season in the race, as he extended his championship advantage.
Ninovic is now one pole clear of Hillspeed's Freddie Slater, who claimed both poles at the Silverstone season opener in April.
Meanwhile, Hitech TGR's Keanu Al Azhari entered the Pole Position Cup battle with his maiden pole position secured in Q1, putting him at the front of the pack for race one, and he also qualified second for race two. The Emirati driver went on to earn two podium finishes.
Both drivers earned a trophy and £300 for their respective pole positions as part of the Jack Cavill Pole Position Cup. The drivers with the most poles at the end of the year will claim a £2,000 prize.
The team of the driver with the most poles at the end of the season will also secure a £2,000 prize.
Prizes at each round are handed out by John Cavill, son of Jack, who has been a huge supporter of young drivers in MSV series since 2013.
