Ninovic claims Omologato One to Watch Award at Spa

04 June 2025

Alex Ninovic's strong start to the Spa-Francorchamps weekend not only propelled him to the lead of the championship standings, but also secured him the round's Omologato One to Watch Award.

Ninovic won then first race of the event from pole position, and then finished third in race two, netting the Australian a haul of 59 points.

Hillspeed's Kanato Le also scored 59 points across races one and two, but the race one result is used as the tiebreaker, handing the prize to the Rodin Motorsport contender. He therefore claimed a prize timepiece from Omologato Watches, GB3's Official Timing Partner.

The Omologato One to Watch Award is handed out at each race event to the top scoring driver across the first two races of the race meeting.

Omologato is the UK's leading motorsport orientated watch manufacturer, with a top class range of products inspired by legendary circuits, drivers and moments from the sport's past.

2025 is the second year the award has been handed out, GB3 recipients in 2024 included John Bennett, Tymek Kucharczyk and eventual champion Louis Sharp. Hillspeed's Freddie Slater claimed the prize at the Silverstone season opener.

Omologato One to Watch Award winners:
Silverstone - Freddie Slater (70pts)
Zandvoort - Patrick Heuzenroeder (64pts)
Spa-Francorchamps - Alex Ninovic (59pts)
