Xcel Motorsport's Patrick Heuzenroeder underlined his pace at Zandvoort last weekend by claiming the Sunoco Fastest Driver of the Weekend Award.
The Australian driver set the fastest racing lap of the weekend, a 1m31.824s on his way to a commanding victory in the first race of the weekend on Saturday. That time was just 0.026s quicker than his nearest rival Deagen Fairclough, before the Brit's challenge faded late on.
Heuzenroeder's fastest lap came as he demolished the field, taking his first GB3 victory with a margin of 6.5 seconds.
Consistency was a key theme of Hezenroeder's weekend, as he also set the fastest lap in race two, a 1m31.915s.
The Sunoco Fastest Driver of the Weekend Award is presented by GB3's control fuel supplier to the driver who sets the fastest race lap at each race event.
With the event being in the Netherlands, Heuzenroeder was presented with a one-off Sunoco Clog by Company Secretary Eva Hildebrand on the podium after the final race of the weekend on Sunday.
