Race two starts at 17.25 - Kanato Le on pole

31 May 2025

The second GB3 Championship race of the weekend at Spa-Francorchamps is due to commence at 17.25 local time (16.25 UK), with Hillspeed's Kanato Le on pole.

The grid formation for the second race is determined by each driver's fastest times from the second qualifying session, and the Japanese driver topped the times with a new qualifying lap record of 2m13.740s.

He will be joined on the front row by Rodin's Gianmarco Pradel, with his teammate and race one winner Alex Ninovic third ahead of the second Hillspeed car of Hiyu Yamakoshi.

Hitech TGR's Hiyu Yamakoshi will start fifth ahead of teammate Nikita Johnson, who was due to start third but picked up a three place grid penalty for his part in the race one collision with Jack Sherwood.

Elite's Will Macintyre and Xcel's Dion Gowda fill row four with the top-10 on the grid completed by JHR's Noah Lisle and Xcel's Patrick Heuzenroeder.

After making massive progress in race one, Hitech's Deagen Fairclough and Hillspeed's Freddie Slater will have it all to do again in race two, starting once more from 22nd and 23rd on the grid respectively.
