GB3 Newcomer Rehm wins Monza race three as Heuzenroeder takes runner-up spot in championship

19 October 2025

Hillspeed's Maxim Rehm claimed victory in the GB3 Championship season finale at Monza, while fifth place for Patrick Heuzenroeder was enough to give the Australian the runner-up spot in the championship standings.

Starting from reverse grid pole, it was a convincing victory for Rehm who only briefly conceded the lead to race two winner Deagen Fairclough, who rose from ninth to third after a daring first lap.

With the battle for the runner-up spot playing out behind him, Rehm kept his cool despite constant pressure behind from both Fairclough and Rodin's Gianmarco Pradel, who swapped second place several times early on.

Rehm ultimately hung on to win by six tenths of a second, but behind, eyes were on the progress of runner-up chasers Fairclough, Heuzenroeder and Pradel. Heuzenroeder entered the event with a margin of 13-points to Fairclough, with Pradel just a point further behind.

In the early stages, and when Fairclough briefly led, it looked as though the Brit would take the position, but after a tricky opening few laps, Heuzenroeder picked his way through the order to join the growing train of cars behind the leader, and fifth place was ultimately enough to snatch the runner-up spot in the standings from Fairclough by five points.

Pradel meanwhile claimed third place in the race behind Fairclough, but that wasn't enough for the Aussie to bank himself a spot in the end of year top-three, finishing nine points adrift.

Rodin's Abbi Pulling enjoyed a rapid start from third on the grid and joined the fight for the lead down to the first chicane, and ran with the leaders throughout the contest. Though she wasn't quite able to force a move, she added fourth place to her fifth secured earlier today.

Argenti with Prema's Reza Seewooruthun started sixth and finished there as he remained in the lead train for the entire contest, finishing just ahead of 2025 champion Alex Ninovic, who started 12th, dropped as low as 18th following a gravelly moment exiting the second Lesmo, but fought his way up to seventh by the chequered flag.

JHR's Noah Lisle gained two spots on his way to ninth while Hillspeed's Newman Chi ended his debut GB3 event with another top-10 finish .

After his race two heroics, going from 20th to fifth, Keanu Al Azhari went from 22nd to 11th in the final race of the year.

Champion Ninovic ends the year with a points tally of 524, finishing 146 points ahead of Heuzenroeder, with Fairclough confirmed in third.
