Hitech's Deagen Fairclough set the pace on the first day of pre-event testing at Silverstone, ahead of this weekend's season opener on the Grand Prix circuit.
The British driver, celebrating his 20th birthday today, set a 1m50.477s in the final session of the day this afternoon, putting him 0.475s ahead of the pack, with VRD Racing's Nikita Bedrin his nearest rival. Fairclough was quickest in two of the day's three sessions.
Rowan Campbell-Pilling was the only driver in the top-six to set their best time outside of the final session, with the Xcel Motorsport driver recording his best lap first in session one, and just 0.021s away from Bedrin.
Maxim Rehm was the top Rodin Motorsport runner in fourth, 0.016s further back from Campbell-Pilling and a scant one thousandth of a second clear of teammate Abbi Pulling, who was fastest in session two.
Martin Molnar ensured Rodin locked out positions four, five and six on the timesheets, 0.042s behind Pulling and a tenth clear of Arden's GB4 graduate Leon Wilson, who set his best time in session one.
Hitech's Jin Nakamura was eighth as he continued his adaptation to GB3 machinery, 0.089s ahead of Hillspeed's Dante Vinci, with Fortec's Jack Taylor completing the top-10, which was covered by 0.888s.
