VRD Racing's Nikita Bedrin recorded a 1m49.577s to top the Friday GB3 test times on the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit.
In a rapid second session of the day, and final test of the week before the season starter this weekend, Bedrin was over a quarter of a second clear of the field, with Rodin's Martin Molnar his nearest challenger. Bedrin's time was over two seconds faster than the best pole position lap at the circuit last year.
Hitech's Deagen Fairclough, who set the pace in session one earlier today, was 0.078s further back in third, and just under two tenths of a second ahead of the second Rodin of Maxim Rehm.
Abbi Pulling ensured all three Rodin machines were within the top-five, while Hitech's Jin Nakamura continued his decent acclimatisation to GB3 in sixth.
Rowan Campbell-Pilling was the top Xcel Motorsport runner in seventh, 0.016s ahead of the second VRD of Rodrigo Gonzalez, with Kyuho Lee (Elite) and the third VRD of Patricio Gonzalez completing the top-10, which was split by just over a second.
With pre-season testing now complete, the GB3 field will return to action tomorrow for the first qualifying session of the year at 10.40.
