Hitech's Deagen Fairclough surged to his second win of the weekend at Silverstone, as his perfect start to the event continued.
The British driver repeated his excellent start to race one to lead the field with a comfortable margin at Copse on the first lap, but had to withstand early pressure from Xcel Motorsport's Rowan Campbell-Pilling, who brought teammate Lucas Fluxa along with him.
Campbell-Pilling was able to stay within DRS range of Fairclough throughout the contest, but the Hitech driver had just enough in hand to keep him away from striking distance, and took the flag with a margin of 0.969s to his fellow Brit.
Fluxa meanwhile made amends for his race one dramas with a first podium of the weekend, and his fifth from the past seven races.
Rodin's Martin Molnar enjoyed a good start and ran third early on, and challenged Campbell-Pilling for second in the opening exchanges, but was shuffled back to fourth ahead of VRD's championship leader Nikita Bedrin, who claimed fifth from sixth on the grid after an early battle down the Wellington Straight with teammate Patricio Gonzalez. Bedrin spent the majority of the race tucked up behind Molnar, but wasn't quite able to find a way to make a move despite a few feints to the inside. After picking up a black and white flag for track limits, Bedrin's challenge faded across the final two laps.
Molnar's teammate Maxim Rehm started eighth after picking up a five place grid drop penalty, but fought back up to sixth and put Bedrin under pressure, finishing ahead of Gonzalez.
Arden's Leon Wilson continued his strong weekend with eighth place, adding to his seventh from yesterday. Elite's Flynn Jackes and Rodin's Abbi Pulling completed the top-10.
