The all-time quickest GB3 lap time at the Hungaroring was broken again in Friday afternoon's second practice session, as Hitech's Deagen Fairclough became the first driver this week to lap beneath the 1m36s bracket.
The British driver delivered a 1m35.849s lap inside the final five minutes of the 30 minute practice, putting himself almost four tenths of a second clear of the pack. Fairclough actually set two laps in the 1m35s, as he moved back to the top of the times, having led practice yesterday.
VRD Racing's championship leader Nikita Bedrin was second fastest, having topped FP1 this morning, though 0.381s adrift of Fairclough's red hot pace.
Rodin's local man Martin Molnar was 0.165s behind Bedrin to complete the top-three, with teammate Abbi Pulling in fourth.
Peter Bouzinelos ensured Hillspeed continued to be represented inside the top-five, and was only 0.040s behind Pulling, and 0.190s clear of the second VRD car of Rodrigo Gonzalez.
Elite's Kyuho Lee led the times with 10 minutes remaining, and was eventually classified seventh, with Arden's Lewis Gilbert rising into the top-eight, and setting the exact same time as Hillspeed's Aurelia Nobels in ninth.
Rodin's Maxim Rehm completed the top-10, with one more practice session still to come today at 18.25 local time.
