The two part qualifying session for the GB3 Championship at the Hungaroring will start at 09.00 CEST, with this weekend's field of 19 drivers looking to secure the best possible grid slots ahead of this afternoon's first race.
Qualifying one will form the grid for race one, while the second qualifying session, which is due to commence at 09.20, will form the race two grid.
Hitech's Deagen Fairclough enters the session as a likely contender for pole. The British driver set the pace in four of the six test and practice sessions leading up to the event, demolishing the all-time Hungaroring GB3 lap record in the process.
His 1m35.668s is the benchmark the field will be aiming for, and as ever, it will be a tight battle at the front, with VRD's championship leader Nikita Bedrin second fastest on both Thursday and Friday.
Rodin's local contender Martin Molnar has been third quickest on both days so far, and a dream pole position at his home circuit shouldn't be discounted.
Hillspeed contenders Dante Vinci and Peter Bouzinelos have enjoyed runs towards the top of the times in practice, while Hitech's newcomer Jacob Micallef has impressed with runs inside the top-six, despite his lack of experience compared to the rest of the field.
Elite's Kyuho Lee was fourth fastest on Thursday and inside the top-eight yesterday, and in the mix with Rowan Campbell-Pilling (Xcel), Maxim Rehm (Rodin) and Patricio Gonzalez (VRD).
