Following the conclusion of race three at the Hungaroring, penalties have been issued by the Stewards, which have amended the race result.
The driver of car 1 (Maxim Rehm) has been handed a one place position penalty, demoting him from third to fourth in the results. Rehm was found to have operated his car’s DRS system before completing a full lap after a safety car restart, and overtook another driver.
Rowan Campbell Pilling is promoted to third as a result, his first GB3 podium.
In addition, the driver of car 10 (Dante Vinci) has been handed a one position penalty, demoting him from sixth to seventh in the results. He had crowded another car off the road at the start of the race.
Hitech’s Jacob Micallef has been promoted to sixth as a result.
Deagen Fairclough and Aurelia Nobels have been handed three place grid penalties for their next GB3 race, for separate incidents.
