The GB3 Championship heads to the scenic Red Bull Ring this weekend, for the series’ first ever event at the home of the Austrian Grand Prix.
As usual, the four day format will feature busy testing sessions on Thursday and Friday, before the race weekend itself on Saturday and Sunday.
A combination of live timing and streaming will allow all visitors to the GB3 Championship website to keep fully up to date with all the goings on in the Stryian mountains.
Here’s how to keep on track with all this weekend’s action.
Thursday 9 July – live timing
09.20-10.05 – session one
11.05-11.55 – session two
14.00-14.55 – session three
Three test sessions of 45, 50 and 55 minutes will allow this weekend’s field to get fully up to speed with GB3’s new venue. Live timing will be available for each session via this link.
Friday 10 July – live timing
08.30-09.00 – session one
13.00-13.30 – session two
17.25-17.55 – session three
A further 90 minutes of testing follows on Friday, with GB3 bookending the day’s running. Live timing and regular social media updates will again keep all visitors up to date with every lap.
Saturday 11 July – live timing and streaming
10.20 – Qualifying One
10.40 – Qualifying Two
14.25 – Race One
The all-important two-part qualifying session will as usual, decide the grid formations for races one and two of the event. Live timing will be available for both sessions, while each race will feature the usual live streaming coverage, with the race one show commencing at approximately 14.05 local time. Sunday 12 July – live timing and streaming
09.55 – Race Two
14.15 – Race Three
Two further 25-minute races follow on Sunday, with live coverage of the first race starting at 09.35 and race three coverage commencing at 13.55 local time. Sunday’s two races will move this year’s season to the midway point.
