Fairclough flies to top spot on day two of Snetterton GB3 test

10 June 2026

Hitech's Deagen Fairclough topped three of the four GB3 Championship test sessions on Wednesday, as the in-season two day test came to a conclusion.

Having topped the times in the opening two sessions, it was his final session effort of 1m38.451s that proved the quickest of the two days, enough to put him ahead of 2023 GB3 race winner Joseph Loake, who was in action for Fortec. Loake had topped the wet and dry penultimate session, but also improved in the final session to go second overall.

Rodin's Maxim Rehm, who was fastest on day one, was third quickest this time around, a quarter of a second behind Loake and less than a tenth clear of teammate Abbi Pulling, who just missed out on another top-three in testing by less than a tenth of a second.

The third Rodin of Martin Molnar was fifth thanks to his session one effort, again less than a tenth behind Pulling and 0.183s clear of Jacob Micallef, who concluded his first official GB3 test with the sixth quickest time for Hitech.

Hillspeed's Dante Vinci was another to set his best time in session one, putting the Australian seventh overall and the final driver within a second of Fairclough's outright pace.

Yuhao Fu put his own Hitech car into eighth, 0.032s ahead of VRD's Patricio Gonzalez, with Kyuho Lee the lead Elite Motorsport runner and completing the top-10, which was covered by 1.098s.

A total of 18 drivers participated on day two, with Leon Wilson joining the test for Arden and setting the 13th quickest time.

Leon Hedfors (Xcel) and Emmilio Valentino Del Grosso (Elite) both completed their maiden GB3 tests in 16th and 18th positions respectively.
