Hillspeed's Aurelia Nobels has made a strong impression across her first two GB3 Championship events, as she makes the step up from F1 Academy.
The Brazilian driver has shown decent pace in qualifying, constantly on the pace with the competitive midfielders, and at Spa, was only a quarter of a second away from a top-half grid slot.
She's also been a model of consistency in the races, with a best result of 14th in the opening race at Spa-Francorchamps last time out.
Despite making the big step up from F4-level competition this year, she's still determined to make further steps forward.
"We haven't had the results we were expecting, it's been a struggle" she admitted. "We're going to keep working with the team, get back in the sim and come back stronger for the next round.
"I know I have the potential to be up there. I know I have the speed, we just need to maximise everything and find the right set up."
She's proven a feisty contender in the races, and has made up a total of 13 places in the five contests held so far at Silverstone and Spa.
"When I get the opportunity I always try and send it! I think I'm really aggressive in the races when I can, and I always try to take advantage. I've had a lot of fun in the races this year already."
The Hungaroring is next up for the series in just over a week's time, and it will be a new venue for the 19-year-old to learn.
"I've never been there, so testing on the Thursday will be very important to get the feedback and get a feeling of the track. I'm confident I'll be able to reset from Spa and come back stronger."
