Barcelona qualifying starts at 10.55 CET - how to follow

07 November 2026

Qualifying at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is due to start at 10.55 CET, with the two part session set to decide the grids for the first two races of the season finale weekend. All the latest action from qualifying can be followed via the GB3 live timing page here.

The two 15 minute sessions will also determine the outcome of this year's Jack Cavill Pole Position Cup, with either Nikita Bedrin or Deagen Fairclough set to claim the end of year £2,000 prize. A single pole for Bedrin will scoop him the honour, while Fairclough needs both to overtake him in the standings.

VRD's championship leader Bedrin set the quickest time across testing and free practice, with his 1m32.674s being the fastest lap of the week. Other drivers potentially fancying their chances include Xcel's Rowan Campbell-Pilling, who was only 0.029s away from Bedrin's pace and second quickest on the combined times for the two days.

Rodin's Abbi Pulling set the pace in the final two practice sessions yesterday, and will also fancy her chances of claiming another pole position, while Bedrin's teammate Patricio Gonzalez has also been in good form.

A crop of seven newcomers are gearing up for their first GB3 qualifying session, and TJ Speed Motorsport's Ary Bansal has generally been the best placed of them, frequently appearing inside the top-five. The 2025 GB4 champion was fifth fastest on the combined times ahead of Rodin's Martin Molnar.

Fairclough has had a comparatively quiet week, but will no doubt be a contender for pole this morning. Meanwhile, GB4 graduate Thomas Ingram Hill has impressively built his speed up with JHR Developments and was eighth fastest across the two days.

Xcel's Lucas Fluxa and Elite's Kyuho Lee have also been top-10 contenders throughout.

Testing points towards qualifying being one of the closest of the year, with the top-10 drivers on the combined times this week being covered by 0.672s, and the lead 17 drivers were all within a second of Bedrin's outright best time.

Qualifying could also eliminate two of the four title contenders from the championship race. If Xcel's Lucas Fluxa is 12th on the combined qualifying times, he will not be able to score enough points in the reverse grid race on Sunday afternoon to keep him in contention. For Rodin's Martin Molnar, if he's between eighth and 12th on the combined times, he too can be wiped out of the championship fight.
