Barcelona race two starts at 11.30 CET - Wherrell on pole

08 November 2026

The second GB3 Championship race of the weekend at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is due to commence at 11.30 local time, with JHR Developments' Lewis Wherrell on pole position.

The grid for the second race is formed by each driver's fastest times from the second qualifying session, and newcomer Wherrell topped that with a 1m33.033s lap, putting him just 0.030s ahead of Elite Motorsport's fellow GB3 newcomer Fred Green.

Rodin's Spa race-winner Abbi Pulling will fancy her chances of another victory from third on the grid ahead of teammate Martin Molnar, with Wherrell's teammate Thomas Ingram Hill another debutant inside the top-five, which was split by a scant 0.069s yesterday.

New champion Nikita Bedrin will aim to put on a show from sixth on the grid for VRD Racing, with Xcel's Lucas Fluxa and Elite's Flynn Jackes seventh and eighth.

Hillspeed duo Dante Vinci and Aurelia Nobels complete the top-10 for the race two grid.

A pair of three place grid penalties were handed out after race one, with Hillspeed's Peter Bouzinelos and TJ Speed's Ary Bansal dropping to 11th and 16th respectively for causing incidents in race one.
