Xcel Motorsport's Rowan Campbell-Pilling claimed his second win of the year with a lights to flag victory in the season finale race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
The British driver held the lead from the start and survived a late safety car restart, finishing just over six tenths of a second ahead of Elite Motorsport's Flynn Jackes, who started fourth, moved up to third off the line and then passed Hillspeed's Aurelia Nobels for second place at the start of lap one.
Jackes was able to keep Campbell-Pilling well within his sights, almost constantly within a second of the leader, but wasn't quite able to get close enough to mount a serious challenge.
Meanwhile, third place for champion Nikita Bedrin was enough for VRD Racing to secure the teams title. Bedrin started seventh but was up to fourth at the end of the first lap.
That position alone was enough for VRD to clinch their first teams crown, but after pressuring Nobels for the majority of the contest, he was able to finally move past just before the safety car was deployed to cover the stranded Hitech car of Yuhao Fu.
Nobels had to settle for fourth, her best result of the season, with her performance also resulting in her setting the fastest racing lap of the weekend.
She finished less than half a second ahead of teammate Peter Bouzinelos, but one of the big stories of the race was the swinging battle for the contenders eyeing second place in the drivers' standings.
The championship runner-up spot went the way of Hitech's Deagen Fairclough, who surged from a lowly 18th on the grid to sixth. That initially wouldn't have been enough for second place with Xcel's Lucas Fluxa ahead in the standings and on the road, but late heartbreak befell the Spaniard, as he slowed dramatically under the safety car and dropped to the tail of the field. While he was able to get back underway, he could only manage 20th place, and thus missed out on the runner-up spot by three points.
Elite's Kyuho Lee finished seventh ahead of a charging Ary Bansal. The 2025 GB4 champion started 14th for TJ Speed Motorsports, but sliced his way up to eighth ahead of Rodin's race two podium finisher Abbi Pulling and her teammate Maxim Rehm.
Rodin entered the race just 11 points behind VRD in the battle for the teams championship, but Bedrin's podium ensured VRD secured the prize.
