Pulling powers to fastest ever Brands Hatch GB3 lap during GP circuit test

10 September 2026

Rodin's Abbi Pulling set the fastest ever GB3 lap around the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit during Thursday's test day at the legendary venue.

The British driver set a 1m16.593s right at the end of a frantic third 40-minute session, eclipsing teammate Martin Molnar's previous all-time best, set in pre-season testing, by 0.012s.

Pulling was 0.028s quicker than VRD Racing's championship leader Nikita Bedrin, who was another driver to improve in the final moments, as did Molnar, who led the times inside the final couple of minutes. The top-three were covered by less than a tenth of a second at the end of the day.

Flynn Jackes was another to fly high late on, leading the times with 10 minutes to go before being shuffled down to fourth, and a tenth of a second clear of Donington Park race winner Rowan Campbell-Pilling.

Donington double winner Deagen Fairclough topped the first session of the day for Hitech, but had off-track excursions in session two and three which affected his running, but still ended up sixth overall courtesy of his morning effort.

Ryan Giannetta continued his testing programme for VRD Racing and was an impressive seventh fastest, 0.120s behind Fairclough and 0.018s ahead of Hillspeed's Dante Vinci.

Kyuho Lee (Elite) and Leon Wilson (Arden) completed a top-10 covered by 0.8s, with the test acting as a useful form guide ahead of the penultimate rounds of the season at the circuit later this month.
