Hitech’s Deagen Fairclough soared to the most dominant win of the GB3 season so far, as he converted pole position into a crushing victory on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit.
The victory is his fifth from the past seven races, and his sixth of the season so far, as he continues his impeccable run in the second half of the season.
The Brit, at his local venue, finished 14.392s seconds clear of Rodin’s Maxim Rehm, who started second, and VRD Racing’s championship leader Nikita Bedrin, who started third. Fairclough's victory margin is the fourth biggest in GB3's history.
Fairclough's teammate Kanato Le marked his return to GB3 with fourth place ahead of Xcel's Rowan Campbell-Pilling, while Hillspeed's Peter Bouzinelos climbed from eighth to sixth on the first lap, and held off pressure from Martin Molnar who took seventh.
Patricio Gonzalez (VRD), Lucas Fluxa (Xcel) and Rodin's Abbi Pulling completed the top-10, as she recovered from a slow start on lap one that dropped her from sixth to 11th in the opening stages. Fluxa had the opposite sort of fortune, and surged from 13th to ninth on the first lap.
Fairclough's win was achieved with unbeatable and impressively consistent pace, as he circled the legendary Grand Prix circuit with a series of laps in the middle phase of the event that were within a tenth of a second of each other.
Operating in a class of his own, Fairclough has now matched Bedrin's tally of six wins in 2026, and has closed the gap to the top-three in the standings.
He'll have the chance to make it two from two, as he starts the second race of the weekend from pole at 11.05am tomorrow morning.
