Rodrigo Gonzalez will make the switch to VRD Racing for the remainder of the GB3 Championship season, joining his brother Patricio at the Anglo-American squad.

Rodrigo made an accomplished GB3 debut at Silverstone three weeks ago, scoring points in each race during his first event in the UK.

Now, as originally planned, the 19-year-old, who was a front-runner in USF Juniors and the Yacademy Winter Series in recent seasons, moves over to Dan Mitchell’s squad to complete its three-car line-up for the rest of the campaign.

The move marks the first time siblings will have competed together in the same team in the GB3 Championship.
